World Mental Health Day on 10/10 is fast approaching.

 

World Mental Health Day, celebrated annually on 10 October, is a global event that aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote mental health and well-being. The aim is to break down the stigma around mental disorders and encourage increased awareness, support and access to mental health resources.

 

Work-related stress and mental overload are unfortunately part of working life for many.

Outdoor work and contact with nature can have a positive impact on people's mental health. Nature can have calming effects, reduce stress levels and improve concentration and productivity.

 

When you spend 20 minutes in nature, stress hormones drop and the brain re-establishes its ability to process complex tasks. Therefore, it is important to stick to moving 1-2 tasks outside - even if it gets cold outside.
